So busy! Oh so busy!

Thu Sep 10, 2009, 3:46 PM
Have I ever mentioned that I hate being rushed? Well recently thats all I have felt as of late. Mainly thanks to my Medical Assistant program, I feel that I'm getting stressed out more then I require. It's the fifth month out of eight, and yet I feel that I'm a good month or so behind some of my classmates thanks to the inconsiderate actions of a couple of teachers I had back to back. Not to mention that I have to make a certain amount of blood draws and I'm not even half-way finished. I'm always to busy thinking about test grades more then other things like sticking someone in the arm and drawing their blood.

The only things that have been keeping me even remotely "sane" are my book reading habits, minor drawings, Julia's caring nature, and the ever reliable video game. Of course thanks to school I haven't had time to do much of any of them besides being with Julia. Finally got my hands on a couple of new books that are thus far sounding interesting. Don't know if any of you have ever heard of Stephen R. Donaldson's "Thomas Covenant" series, but I have been addicted to them for quite some time now. Currently I found his two newest books (published in 2004 & 2007) which is a big relief since his last book was released back in 1983 (for those that don't know, thats a good 5 years before I came into this world!)

In other news, I'm in a slump when it comes to art. Lately I've been trying to work on the Caramelldansen but I keep being distracted. Also have been looking at things called "bases" for some form of inspiration on things to draw. Of course there aren't many things that I can find that actually "inspires" outside of taking it, and using it for Eric-dono purposes. I've gotten to the point that I might start doing something similar to my friend Mufftigg, and start taking commissions from friends and doing them for free. Not sure as to how, or what kind of limitations I can do, so for now give me a shout and I'll get to work on it as soon as possible. (when I'm not busy with school and such...)

Edit: Oops, forgot something! I haven't been checking my page as much as usual, so I just now noticed that I have achieved 1k pageviews. (yay me!) So I guess it's about time I start thinking about doing a 1k thank you art piece. [of course, after I complain about not having any ideas for art...]
